We learn to move within an environment initially by exploring, playing, enjoying who we are.

We learn by moving and form a self image as we find ways to interact and succeed in getting what we want.

The Feldenkrais Method offers an opportunity to learn again, by moving, to sense our abilities and not only move with greater ease, but to learn more about our ongoing interaction with our world. You can learn how to move more efficiently, alleviate pain, and stay that way.

We learn about relationships and alternatives by moving, including our mental, physical, and social interaction. Individual lessons, Functional Integration®, and group classes, Awareness Through Movement®, focus on our ability to improve function by learning about simple movement patterns, thinking and sensing in movement. Our brain recognizes patterns, or relationships, and the resulting sense of ease transfers to the rest of our lives. It’s about learning....the movement is an efficient way for this to happen.
